Parsley Carrots

8     large carrots,peeled and sliced
1     clove
1     whole clove of garlic,peeled
1     small whole onion,peeled
1/4  teaspoon salt,or salt to taste
       water
1     tablespoon butter
1     heaping teaspoon fresh parsley,fine - chopped

Place sliced carrots in a saucepan.
Stick the clove into the clove of garlic, add to the carrots,
add the onion and salt.
Add just enough water to barely cover the carrots.
Place the lid on the saucepan and bring to a full boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 - 20 minutes.
(depending on how thin your carrot slices are).
Drain the water, remove the clove of garlic with the clove and the onion.
Place saucepan back on the stove, add the butter and heat just until
the butter is melted, carefully stir a few times.
Sprinkle with the parsley and serve.
