Oh, how fun to find this site. I posted a message about this over on the Stitchers Guild and Lisa suggested I ask here. Now, duh, why didn't I think to look for a cooking forum???
Anyway, I think I'm getting a new stove for Christmas. I've always wanted a gas cooktop for the instant off/on heat, Hubby says if I
really, really want it, he'll get it for me!! Yes ...... I
really, really do!!

I don't have room for a cooktop and wall oven, mine has to be a stove/range. And the gas has to be propane, we live in the boonies!

But we already have gas for hot water so that's OK.
So, my question is: anyone have one of the dual fuel stoves??? Gas for the top and an electric oven?
I've always heard that the best oven is an electric and the "famous" chefs seem to like it that way.

Or do you have a gas oven and love it??? What are your likes or dislikes about either one?
