Looking for the name

I make this pork roast... or roast pork.  You cook it in a red chile sauce and then shred the pork to serve with tortillas in whatever fashion you wish.  I keep forgetting what the dish is called though.  Anyone know?

Well around here that is called most often "carnitas" or carnitas "rojo" ( red ) if it's green then we say "verde" and rarely chili Colorado... any of that sound close to yours?

That might be it.  But it doesn't sound quite right.  Carne Asada sounds right but when I looked it up that's just grilled so that can't be it.

Well, shredded pork served with a pepper sauce is called Cochinita Pibil, but that doesn't sound much like Carne anything.

Carne Guisada is kind of a meat stew served with tortillas.  I've always used beef though.

Thank you all.  Grin  I finally managed to connect with my friend again and it's called Carne Adovada.  I searched and there are a bunch of recipes for it - the major difference seeming to be the making of the chile sauce (as opposed to the opening of the can).

One traditional recipe
