Dear Spammers,
« on: May 09, 2008, 01:40:25 PM »

Dear Spammer,

If you are a real person - and not just another annoying spambot - then there is something you need to know before you go to all the trouble of registering and posting your spam.

You will be deleted.  Your spam will not be on the board for longer than a day.  No one comes here hoping to find porn links, so any spam that sits around a couple hours isn't going to help your page ranks or draw in new customers.  Your account will be banned and deleted - which takes a little effort from us but the effort is more than counter-balanced by the glee we take it pushing the delete button.

YOU WILL BE DELETED.

I thought that was worth repeating.

If you are a real person - and not just a mindless bot that really should be illegal - don't post spam.  Don't bother registering if you're planning to post spam.

You might be a spammer if:

  • Viagra is part of your user name.
  • Your user name is comprised on unintelligible symbols or letters.
  • A google search on your user name returns 400 or more forum profiles, all dated today.
  • You have any form of a spoofed gmail address.
  • Your email address is mp3.com, toppix.com, buyviagra.com, and so on.
  • Your posts are comprised of several hundred links to porn or drugs.
  • You wouldn't want to show your grandmother (or DL's children) your post.
  • Your post has absolutely nothing to do with cooking or recipes.
