Cream Cheese Cinnamon Raisin Pecan Rolls

Cream Cheese Cinnamon Raisin Pecan Rolls

1 pkg refrigerated crescent rolls
3 to 4 oz cream cheese
¼ cup nuts, chopped pecans
¼ cup brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp raisins, plumped (optional)
Glaze recipe below

Pull the crescent roll dough apart into 8 pieces. Spread cream cheese on each piece of dough.

Mix together nuts, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Sprinkle one tablespoon of mixture on top of the cream cheese on each piece covering evenly.

Plump the raisins by putting hot tap water over them and microwaving for 30 seconds. Pour off water, put raisins on a paper towel and roll up to get out the excess water. Place raisins on top of the nut/brown sugar/cinnamon mixture.

Roll up the dough from the wide end of the triangle. After rolled up, pinch the ends together to keep the ingredients from oozing out while cooking.

Place on a baking sheet that has been lightly sprayed with Pam with excess being wiped off with a paper towel.

Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 12 minutes or until browned. Spoon glaze over the top as soon as they come out of the oven. Serve warm.

Glaze:
Scant ½ cup confectioner’s sugar
1 tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla

In the 60''s people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal
