The girl's Easter dresses are done to one button which I will get before Easter.

Both have new shoes to wear. Anna wanted to stand on the chair arm for the next picture.

Anna got a new necklace to wear with her dress.

Next up is black capris leggings and cotton tops to wear on the Easter weekend.

Ann, their Easter outfits are adorable!  And I also loved the tiny rhinestone tees.. Very precise work!

Kate got her second Easter outfit. The patterns can be found at Pixie Faire.

Anna's is cut out and the bodice lining has been sewn together. It may be done tomorrow or Monday.

Lovely outfits Ann. It's been very quiet here and I wanted you to know we are reading and enjoying your posts. Don't want you to think it's wasted effort putting them up here. I regularly troupe over to your blog for more info and check on your life in general. I seem to have problems posting comments on blogs; I don't interface with them too well.

Your work is very inspiring. I still haven't gotten around to actually making anything for Noelle. She is getting impatient with me. I did buy her a present yesterday at Walmart. It is an ironing set! Drying rack, 2 hangers, ironing board with cloth cover, spritz bottle and a really nice iron; think it's a Rowenta.  ;) She was a bit dubious at first, due to her lack of a wardrobe. We discussed it and she offered to press the seams while I sew on other things so I can get clothed made faster. I did do most of the talking.

Thank you Garden Girl. for your comment. I saw the ironing board set but have no place to set it up yet. I would love to get a white dresser for in the sewing room and use it to display items. I am slow as I am not sure what I really want for a dresser. I could use it for display on the top and store their clothes in the drawers.

It was fun to sew up these outfits. Next is to finish their Spring 6 PAC.

Oh how cute, Ann. I love their new Easter ensembles. It makes me happy to sew how enthusiastic you are about sewing for them. I hope they have pride of place somewhere in your new home so you can see them often and others can admire your work as well.

Thank you everyone for the kind comments. They were fun to think about and sew. I am back to sewing aqua and peach. Have a pair of aqua denim shorts almost sewn. The hems will be frayed rather than turned under. There will be a crop top with a wider lace edging and matching skirt, jeans, plus one other item for Anna. Kate's is still tickling in my head. I do have some adult sewing to do also.

I finished March's knitting on Wednesday. It had been hanging around not quite done for a week.

The first is a premature baby's jacket that I knit on a size smaller needles than recommended. I used Sidar yarn which is a lovely acrylic yarn to knit with. The colour is Blueberry Mousse and is no longer available. Anna loved it.

Her favorite features are the ribbing at the waist and the heart shaped buttons.

The second sweater is part of a sweater set. I beaded the short sleeved sweater as I wanted to learn how to add beads to knitting with a crochet hook. It is easy but time consuming while learning the knack. Anna loves it with her black wool slacks.

The pattern is not published yet. Several of us have been testing it for the designer.

Anna is now waiting for the long sleeve cardigan that goes with the set. It is April's project. Instead of a knit button band, I am going to do those 3 stitches into an i-cord trim as I knit. Something new I learned last week.

It's so much fun to come to this topic and see what you've been up to, Ann. Your doll knitting is wonderful. They would be gorgeous pieces in full scale as well.

Anna got aqua denim shorts. She chose not to hem them so they could fray. On my part, I made one mistake when drafting the pattern to fit her so these are the second pair I made.

She is waiting for warmer temperatures to arrive so she can wear them outside. 61F at midnight last night but she was sleeping when that happened.

Another new outfit for Anna. This one came from this picture on Pinterest.

I made a cute top and matching skirt in an aqua cotton print. I love that print.

The lace is from the end of lace bateau so I had to work hard to get it to lie flat. I ended up using a zig zag stitch to hold the top part flat. I then paired it with aqua jean shorts and I feel I met the inspiration photo.

I am doing lacy shorts and a tie front top for Kate and then it is onto sewing adult clothing during May.

Love the colors of Anna's new outfits, Ann. And what fun to see some of her furniture and her Apple laptop in the background. :)

Thank you for the kind words on the aqua clothing. I knit a dress for Anna and she wore it outside to model. Was warm enough last evening as we are having a warm spell right now.

The pattern is very dense and it is quite a warm dress. I am planning on knitting leg warmers to go with this dress and will also knit leggings so the dress can be worn in cooler weather.

We are waiting for a new girl to arrive. Her name is Laura and she has brown hair and eyes and freckles.

Ann, lovely as always but Anna looks a bit warm. I bet she was glad to change back into her new shorts and crop top.

Actually, it was cool when she wore the dress as it had been raining.

Laura modeled the red sweater set yesterday as it was another cool wet day.

The long sleeve sweater is a bit short in the sleeves and body. Like a couple of rows short. Next time I knit this outfit, I will be putting the number of rows into my knitting book for reference. I literally forgot this time.

Thank you CCL. The sweater was fun as the lady who designed it did a good job of the pattern. I just added the beads while I was knitting. I had wanted to learn how to do it so read up and tried it out. I have another idea in my collection and will do the short sleeved one again but make it into a long sleeved sweater.

I made another sweater like the pale blue one in white. Used one size larger needles. Both the girls are quite warm now.
