I am a longtime supporter of this great site.  I will try to do whatever it requires to keep it going.

Love the new subscription info.  Saying 75cnts a week points out how inexpensive it is.  Hope it works.

May have found a solution to my adult content error. I copied the SG url and added to the allowed sites. I can access SG and the W scam is stopped.

My IPAD settings can be a real PITA.  Had to drill down through a new option Screen time to  Contents then content restrictions and web content. Limit adult sites has to be checked before I can add the URL under always allow.  But at least I could find it and I found the instructions on the internet. I am a Windows fan but a user making similar changes could find it impossible.

The dev team is reporting the new version is about 90% complete, but now there are still lots of bugs to fix.

I'm crossing my fingers they really will have the release candidate finished this fall, even if it's not perfect right out of the box.

I use an iPad almost exclusively with no problems on any site.  I have a Mac, but it always seems to be updating and I get impatient.

You missed seeing several emails between me and DL. Let me try to  summerize.  I was having a problem with my Safari being hijacked by the Amazon scam which Apple says is not their respnsibility  and AdBlock doesnt catch either.  Finally found a solution, turn on the adult content controls. Safari was fine for a few days even on SG. But after a few days I started getting forbidden errors. Since it had been days since I made the change and I only experiencd the error at SG,  I didnt connect it with the adult content settings change. After, the few emails with DL guiding me, I realized why I was having issues and adjusted my settings.  I made my post to let DL know but I also thought other Ipad users might be interested.

Look in System Preferences > App Store.
You can turn off automatic updates.
Does this bring you joy, calm, confidence  :D  if not, try something else.

I do not want to turn them off as the updates are usually a good thing - just inconvenient.  I seldom use my Mac, so the updates take some time on it.

I use my iPad daily, so the updates are no problem on it.
