Missouri Star Quilt Company
« on: May 18, 2018, 03:13:41 AM »

I sure hope this link works, several episodes of show produced by BYUtv about the Missouri Star Quilt Co, inspiring & lovely.
If the link doesn't work you might find it with a search of BYUtv & Missouri Star Quilt Co. I accidentally came across it & not sure how I even saw it & I couldn't get the address to link. (this has been one of those days when all electronics , even my e-reader, have decided to rebel on me)

Granmomus, I merged both topics that you started about this BYUtv program on The Missouri Star Quilt Company into one. I'll send you a PM so you can find the merged topic.

Thanks again for bringing this great program to our attention. I sure enjoyed seeing it. :)

The last episode made me cry, such beautiful words. I was fortunate to see Jenny Doan in person about 3 years ago when she did a trunk show in my area, she & her husband are lovely people. If you ever have the opportunity don't miss it. Some day I hope to go to Hamilton but now my mobility is poor, hopefully it will happen. Hamilton is about 5 hours from my husband's hometown, so hoping to combine a trip.

granmomus, thanks so much for sharing that. Everybody loves Jenny, I don't think any of my quilt friends know the backstory of MSQC and that Jenny didn't start it. What a great revitalization they have brought to their little town!

I only found one episode about MSQC and your posts referenced others. Did I miss something? Or were you just talking about other episodes of the series.

I think the whole link was from a series of originally maybe 4 or so episodes, ending with the one where Jenny spoke about the meaning of giving quilts, that is where I cried. I didn't watch the time but think the whole video ran about 20-30 min, maybe longer.
