I thought Bill Gates had his own zip code...  Shocked

Our Smocking Guild meets in Bellevue. Let me know if you are interested. I imagine you are still trying to decide what goes where, but I'm sure your new room will be awesome! I'm not a big fan of Bellevue traffic, but I love the shops.

Betsy, I will let Denise respectfully disagree. It will be warmer than up here in the north; well until I get climatized. The room will be warm with electric heat as it meets the "North's" standards. For us that is important.

Madrona, I guessed Medina in my prior post.  Is that right? Grin

My parents lived at Hunts Point.  Is that close to Medina or somewhere else?  Close to where you are going to live?

Stash - My grandparents lived on Hunts Point too ... and my other grandparents lived in Medina ... both my parents went to Bellevue HS ... I guess I am an eastside girl.  Wink  The new house is in Enatai - closer to the I-90 side.

Jodi - when things settle down a bit, I may take you up on the smocking guild invite.

Strangely enough, my sewing stuff was some of the first stuff to be moved to the new house.  So when we went over tonight I unpacked all the garbage bags of fabric and stacked them in my Fabric Closet -- a linen closet located right outside the rec room.  And the tables are in a nice spot where they might actually end up.

Kathryn is causing all sorts of trouble over there when we are there during the day (I'm tired of shouting at her and having her shout at me Sad ), so hubs unhooked the TV and brought it over there w/ a DVD player and a few of her DVDs, and there is a box of books in that room... and we bought her a PBKids Anywhere Chair and she looooooooves it.  So hopefully that will keep her entertained while I'm trying to vacuum or whatever... and she won't stuff mounds of paper towels into the toilet any more.   Roll Eyes

My first 2 were 13½ mos apart.  I was pg again 2½ mos after avatar picture was taken with DD in my lap.  Anyway, I had 2 in cloth diapers.  So, sometimes, 2 at once with poopy diapers.  Change one cloth diaper, throw in toilet, change other cloth diaper, throw in other toilet, go to first toilet and dunk and put in diaper pail.  Go to second toilet, dunk and put in diaper pail.  Sometimes between toilet 1 and toilet 2, DD would flush diaper 1 down the toilet.  One time I was canning tomatoes and she found a lid to a mason jar and flushed it down the toilet and it operated as a butterfly valve but was hidden from view down the toilet.  Ex took toilet off the floor and turned it upside down and it fell out.  But, only after Rotorooter could not find anything and cost beaucoup $$.  The lid would tilt as the rooter tube went down the toilet...a valve.

A few paper towels not that big a deal rotfl

Madrona, I'm not certain where you're moving to but anyplace is warmer than New England in the winter. Betsy is right, I'm a wimp when it comes to cold, and even though I keep my house reasonably warm, I still wear a fleece sweater most of the time. It's not as bad as it was when we first got here after 25 years in Va., but it's still pretty cold to me.

I swapped my sewing room and guest bedroom around last weekend and moved the office upstairs so the former office is now a t.v. room with a couple of chairs. Mainly, I wanted access to the windows which DH's desk blocked. Plus, the office is always messy so now his is in our half bonus room (because the slanted ceiling makes half the room unusable) and my little desk and laptop's in the guest bedroom.

I will get my sewing space organized and take a picture. So far, I have not sewn a thing in there. But it is warm.  cheers DH is making noises about getting the basement finished and when that's done the sewing room goes down there, with sufficient heat, of course.

ROFL Stash - that is a great story.

How about that i add that she put the paper towels in the toilet right after i had squirted toilet cleaner in there, but before the plumber told me he couldn't fix the valve in the master shower that sprayed water at the velocity of a fire hydrant any time we turned the water on out at the street, so i couldn't pull the paper towels back out of the toilet because there was no water on at the house, and therefore nowhere to wash hands?   Roll Eyes

DeniseM - I am in the very moderately temperatured (most of the time!) Pacific NW.  Smiley
