I too agree with Robin- wear what you think suits you and wear it with confidence Cool  Where I live people tend to be rather casual but that is not a look for me - I love clean lines with minimal fuss and frill. 

I learnt the hard way that the "christmas tree "look is not the best for me.  I was a bean pole in my youth and my high school ball dress of beautiful sea greens and cascading tiers helped me be a wall tree rather then the proverbial wall flower.  I never was so thank ful that my fathers pictures never came out.  I really admire Terri's style and have started to make many similar patterns following her suggestions.
