Linda (and everyone else), it is at the COrnell Cooperative extension building on Highland Ave. across from the park, near st. john's home.  I will be there to set up at 8 and it opens to the public at 9.  I can't locate the box that had the fabric I wanted to sell.  I may find some, but I might just hang out.  Kathy, I can lift stuff for you, so don't go lifting too much before I get there.

Linda it would be fun to see you!  Hey Dori and Betty if you are out there you should join up with us!

See you on Sat.!

Wow, how are you enjoying this weather?  Grin I can't believe that I slept with the windows open in April!! I colored eggs yesterday and got caught up on the usual Easter stuff. It was fun making up Easter baskets for the kids. Strangely enough, it doesn't seem like that long ago that I was making them for my kids  Cry. Everyone enjoy your weekend. What is everyone up to? It is quiet in here.

Somehow I missed your last post Kathy.  HOw is everyone?

Elizabeth has been home all week with some kind of bug, and DH is OOT.

I took a PT Board review class last week, and I am feeling more confident.  I am hoping to cut my hours at work and then study a bit more.  Maybe I can take my test before the kids get out of school.

I am looking forward to break next week.  I want to study and sew.  We will see if that will really happen. I am having a hard time deciding what  I want to sew...so I almost get paralyzed.  I should just make something.

What are you sewing?

Hi all..
Well, my DH was supposed to be home last night, but he is stuck in Brussels, Belgium and we hope he is home some time next week.  That darn'd volcano has stopped all air travel.  He has a hotel room...I don't know if they can kick you out..and he has his office.  At least he has work connections there.  I can't imagine being stuck w/o money or any connections.  I hope he makes it home by next weekend!

I am trying to put together some sewing plans so I accomplish something.  Sometimes I feel like I haveto finish a project B4 I start a new one....

Anyone want to get together this week?
KAthy, did you get ot the kimono exhibit?

I don't have any business on this thread except it's pouring outside and I'm procrastinating with my barn chores.  Wink  My DS is 'stuck' in Paris until next week.  He was in Brussels last week.  I guess if you have a hotel room, which he does, and new visitors can't arrive, then the room will remain available.  At least that's what I'm hoping.

Martha, I am procrastinating too!  My DS's doubleheader was cancelled due to the cold...34F so I went back to sleep and just woke up!  I have been burning the candle at both ends.  I got an email from DH and he said he has a room till Tues.  I figure that he has some work associates there in Brussels that if they kick him out he will have to ask his boss.  I told my DH to try to have some fun since he works too hard all the time, and hopefully his work will re-imburse his expenses and it doesn't come out of our budget.

Let me know when your DH gets home.  What airline is he traveling?

Andi, it's my son.  And home for him is SF, which isn't where I am.  Undecided  I believe he has a flight reservation on Wed and a room until then.  He works out of his laptop but at least he's there on business.  We're expecting snow tonight.  Brrr.

Martha, you have confirmed that I do need a new eyeglass  prescription. OMG, I can't believe I didn't read that correctly.  Getting old, I guess.
My DH just emailed and he has a room till Tuesday, but my daughter said, worst case scenario he can hole up at the  office!  And I guess she is right!

It is cold here too in western NY, and I am not motivated  to do anything!

Hello Andi & Martha. I hope your loved ones get home safely. What a strange turn of events! I guess it is a reminder of how little control we actually have. I feel for all of the people and businesses that are being negatively impacted by this volcano. This is absolutely the last thing anyone needs on the heels of the great recession.

Andi, I am recovering (very slowly I might add) from the nastiest cold I have ever had. It started a week ago with a sore throat and fatigue. Of course, it went right to my sinuses  Roll Eyes. My DD has it now. Something potent is going around for sure. If you have time to step out this week, give me a call. I am not available Tuesday or Friday. I never did make it to the Kimono exhibit. Is it still there? I would love to see it.

I am finishing up a blazer from a T&T Simplicity pattern. It is very basic, but the navy fabric with stripes is very "spring". It looks great with those Lacoste buttons you gave me  Kiss.

I am sure I can get out since the kids are old enough  to watch each other.

I was recently reminded that we have 8th grade graduation coming up.  My DD thinks a khaki skirt should be fine.  I am sure it is not..Even her most "tomboy" like friends will have beautiful ,$$$$ dresses.  I think I found a Vogue knit pattern that may work for her, and passes her approval...I will post a link later.

Re: DH, I think he is plagued by natural disasters.  His last trip to China was the last big earthquake,  last trip to Hong Kong was a hurricane, and now the volcano!  I will be surprised to see him before the end of the week.   I hope he makes it home by the time school starts up again, as I need him to help shuttle kids to/from activities!

I hope you get fully healthy Kathy.  I am feeling much better today, and I am glad I don't have any appointments/work this week, so we can just sleep until we wake up!
