13 year old's sewing adventures...

Dear All,
I wanted to proudly share my daughter's achievement. She chose the fabric (Ikea's cotton) the pattern: Simplicity 4987;
and set out to work.
Here is her progress:

What do you think?
and finally:

The best thing, was the final comment: "mama, I did not realise that a simple apron requires
SO MUCH WORK!"

P.S.
 I think her remark, should be an answer to all those people, who want "alteration/sewing" for free (cf. posts on "cheap sewing)  ;D

Just now stumbled across the topic - glad to see a kid start sewing! The apron fabric is soo cute, hope she is proud to use it.
