Hi, I need a suggestion for a pant pattern for wovens that is flattering and would be easy to alter (make smaller) around the waist or below waist, depending on the style. So no waistbands, and probably no casings. Facing? TIA for any ideas.

You might want to look at Christine Jonson's latest pant pattern with the trouser pant and flare leg, both with facings. Her patterns are always good and the reviews for this are positive.

Def. facings, and a center back zipper would let you take in the side seams after construction without redoing a zipper.

There's a thread here somewhere about patterns for weight loss that might have more suggestions.

Jenny, the CJ pattern looks like a winner and I like the top too. Laura great point about CB zipper. I  will look for that other thread. Thanks to you both.
