Purging the Pattern Stash! - updated with more patterns
« on: January 19, 2013, 02:45:49 PM »
Times change and so do we. I've collected a lot of things that I no longer want to keep. Rather than just toss these patterns away, I'd like to offer them to good homes for the cost of shipping.

As I get the patterns scanned, I will put them in my "Patterns" set on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/9496224@N07/sets/72157632558568723/, and update the list here. More to come...

Here's the deal on shipping. Because I am lazy, I will use the flat-rate priority mail envelopes, and will put as many patterns as I can in each envelope. I think 3 will fit comfortably, and 4 could probably be squeezed in, especially if they are the smaller standard size patterns. Cost to you is per envelope - whether you want 1 pattern or more for the price is up to you!

Current postal rates:  $5.15 for within the US. $12.95 for Canada or Mexico. $16.95 for all other countries. (prices are in US dollars) I can take a personal check or money order.

And I'll try to present them in some sort of organized fashion here.

New listings 2/6/13

Sent PM requesting:
1036
8120
9158
2401
and possibly 1266 if it will fit in the package. Off to double check that I don't already have any of those.

I'd be interested in your patterns - V8689 (blouse), V8332 (divine details) and V1034 (jeans) if they are still available.  I tried to send you a PM but cannot seem to get past the verification process.  I must be dense or something!   ???

Thanks!

Kathy

Kathy, it may have something to do with you being a new member. I'll double check to verify that those are still available.

Thanks.  I tried to reply to you again, but couldn't get past the verification again.  I have no idea what the problem is, but it may be because I don't post much.  I'm not the most computer savvy person, so who knows.

I've enjoyed lurking (a lot) and seeing all the beautiful creations here - just haven't had a lot to offer in terms of discussion.  Perhaps that is the problem.

Er, yes, sorry, the admins had to turn off PM-sending privileges to new accounts.  You would not believe what some people with new member PM privileges and the ability to send photos through the Internet do with their spare time.  ::)

Come down to The Winter Fireside, our seasonal thread for day-to-day topics.  No need to have a current project on the go to have a nice chat there. :)

Kathy, I have those patterns ready for you. I think you need to have something like 11 posts to use the PM feature, but I thought you could reply to one sent by me. Nothing wrong with lurking, although we all would enjoy chatting with you, too!  :)

Since we can't PM, can you shoot me an e-mail to robynjorde at yahoo dot com? Then we can exchange paymet and address info.

Thank you!

Kathy D, welcome to Stitcher's Guild. The way our site is currently set up, for someone with 5 posts or fewer, a pass verification is required to send a Private Message (PM).  I apologize for the hassle, but it was necessary to thwart spam posters.

From what I can tell, the pass verification system is working. If you continue to have problems with it, please let me know.
Here is some info that we like to give to our new posters to help you get around the site a bit more easily:

1.   Visit the “Are You New?” topic by clicking here:  Are you new?

2.   Learn about the forum rules by clicking here: Forum decorum...FAQs

3.   Play in the Sandbox by clicking here : Sandbox .  There you can play around with a lot of the features of the site to your heart's delight (like posting photos or creating your avatar) without affecting any of the other active topics.  It’s truly a “no worries” place to play and learn.

Also, please note that you have to have 11 posts before you can make changes to your profile. This rule helps to control spammers who try to enter our site.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask one of us four site administrators or the site moderator.  One or the other of us is almost always around.  On the opening page, at the bottom, where it lists who is online, our names show up in bright red or bright blue.  You can always send us a private message at any time if you need help.

Have fun looking through the site. Come back and post often! :)

Kathryn

I've updated the original post with some Claire Schaffer and Vogue Designer patterns. Everything can be viewed in the Flickr set here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/9496224@N07/sets/72157632558568723/with/8451084954/

No cost for the patterns. Shipping $ and details are in the original post.

I hope some of these patterns can find good homes!

Gail,
If you purchase your postage online it's only $5.15.

If you scroll through the priority boxes/envelopes you can select one then check the online price. http://postcalc.usps.com/

I'm guessing Robyn purchases her postage online. As do I. :)
