How to Resize a Photo Embedded in a Post
« on: November 07, 2018, 08:43:22 PM »
To make it easier for members with slower wifi connections, we ask that the width of photos within the body of a post be set at 350 pixels for portrait and 500 pixels for landscape photos.

To do this, just insert the words "width=350" or "width=500" (no quotation marks) after the first bracketed "img", leaving a space after img and before width=350 (or 500).

So it would look like this

Code: [Select]
[/img]or
Code: [Select]
[/img]
With the information for the picture itself pasted between the bracketed img and /img, it would look like this:
Code: [Select]

to yield this:

Usually, clicking on the picture shown in the post will restore it to its original size.
