Okay, for those who have ad blockers, I'll try to add text links somewhere so they'll show up.

FWIW, the Google link at the bottom of the pages, as well as the four that look software type links - My SQL,  W3C, php,  etc., always show up.

Okay; I'll put up text links somewhere today.  I'll just have to find a place where they won't mess up the way the page displays.  Right under the ads would be nice, but there they still might not show up for you.

I put them on the board's news scroller.  They'll show up on the rotating fader, and in the "news box" on the upper right.  To view a different news item in the news box, just refresh the page.

I am a once in a while poster... the ads on the bottom of the page are not intrusive, and quite nice.  Personally I do not mind this kind of advertising, and may actually find it quite useful 

I am speaking as someone who spent lots of money buying curtains and fabrics from a simple little ad in a Threads magazine over a decade ago.  These advertisements are targeted to us, and they are not distracting from me avoiding the stuff I am supposed to be doing (oh, like housework, homework... um, going to bed!).
