I have never been disappointed in an EOS order. Linda is very professional.

She has a beautiful Navajo blanket print on the website that I'm considering for a blanket for my sister for Christmas. She likes to sit in front of the t.v. at night and is always cold. I thought I'd get a couple of yards and do a hand blanket stitch to the edges.

Denise, that Pendleton fabric is stunning.  I have a 'Chief Joseph' Pendleton blanket at the foot of my couch.  It's very nice.  I had to do some repairs on it as my dogs enjoyed it too.

I just ordered a couple of yards of the Pendleton Navajo fabric. I'll be doing a lot of hand blanket stitching this winter.

Linda's fabrics have never disappointed me, and she communicates wonderfully well if you have a question.  One of the more mysterious things is that the colors of her images, as they appear on my Mac monitor, are dead-on when the fabric arrives.  This is certainly not the case with several other vendors I buy from, though I don't know how to explain it.

I looked at it too yesterday. What I'm in love with though is the laminated gold/silver wool. Not quite as pricey, but I still don't need it and wouldn't have much cause to wear it.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that the plaid you referenced won't make a flowy jacket - she describes it as "floaty" and crisp and it looks like laminated organza to me, with some embellishments.
I think that although it's gorgeous, some real care would have to be taken in selecting just the right sort of pattern for this. Something that doesn't need to fall in soft folds.

Marji, that wool you posted is gorgeous.

I was thinking of Louise Cutting's Butterflies and Bees jacket, which is a reversible. A floaty fabric would look beautiful in that. But I'm not going to invest in it when I have soooooo much in my stash. I did order some swatches, though.

Well, I'm taking the plunge. I just ordered the last 1.5 yards of her forest green Italian wool boucle and I'm getting some of that glittery black boucle that's on sale. I really don't have any black fabric except for one piece of silk with gold lurex I bought from Michael to make a LH Capri jacket so this will be interesting to work with. It's a heavier coat weight so pretty warm.

I just made my first purchase from EmmaOneStock this week.  The package should arrive today or tomorrow.  Linda was very prompt, professional and informative and I was very impressed.

I ordered a wool coating called "Ivy League", a gorgeous houndstooth in shades of greens, teal, sage, etc.  I can't wait to get it!

Kellie, that's a very pretty wool. I had my eye on that but what I really want is that fabric in pink and black. Meanwhile, I placed my order today, got that last bit of forest Fila wool/mohair and 2.5 yards of the Italian wool/lurex. Linda always provides great service and I think you'll be pleased with the quality of her fabrics.

My first order arrived today.  I ordered on 10/13 and it arrived 10/21, which isn't too bad.

Wow, two of the fabrics I ordered are to die for.  In fact, I went back to the site to maybe order more of each and, of course, both are gone.  I wonder if I can squeeze a vintage Miyake jacket out of the Italian "ikat" wool suiting.  Wow.  I had another fabric all lined up but now...

I also loved the Italian burnout cotton voile.  Wish I'd gotten more than two yards of that one.    I got it in blue/green but they still have it (on sale) in pink/blue.  You can really see through the burnout holes, but they are very small.  Uber cute.

Shams sometimes you have to be really quick with EOS. I look at her site 3x weekly and new stuff is sometimes sold out before I've seen it. She gets bolt ends etc from NYC and sometimes very short yardage.

I'm still wavering on a raincoating fabric ...

Shams, you can also e-mail her and see if she is getting any more in stock, or if there may be some left headed to the roll ends part of her site. That's how I got my forest green wool.

Seeing the things you've made so far, I'll bet you can eke a beautiful something out of a small yardage.

Shams - I also ordered the cotton voile in blue/green.  I agree with you it is very nice.  I made the mistake of ordering a small yardage the first time but was lucky to be able to get another 2 yards in a second order.  It went well really with some linen I had ordered and several other items in my stash. 
I have ordered from EOS twice now and have been very happy both times.

Thanks everyone.  Yes, I will probably try to eke something out of both pieces.  I realized why I ordered only two yards of the Japanese ikat - I was thinking of using it for a particular Shapes pattern.  But it's far too stiff for that.  It screams jacket to me, but it can be a challenge to find a pattern that will work with that amount of fabric, since I don't wear fitted jackets.

I got my order from EOS the other day. Beautiful stuff. Now, I really have to get busy sewing. I've one big project to finish and I'm almost done with that, then I can cut into that forest green boucle for a jacket.

Just a heads up that Linda has RPL on her site now.  She only has two colors (charcoal and chocolate brown), but she says she has a regular source for it now and will be getting a variety of colors.

What is RPL?   Is it a decent fabric for pants?

jem, RPL....Rayon, polyester, lyrca.  It might be woven or knit.  It is wonderful for pants, just be sure if you are using the knit for pants, that is a double knit.

RPL (the woven type) is the BEST for pants! Drapey, but with body, easy care, non-wrinkly...doesn't seem to pill in the inner-thigh area, if, like me, you have friction issues...

The RPL I've gotten from EmmaOneSock has always been the best...some I've gotten from other sources hasn't been as nice.

I am a little confused.  On the Emma One Sock site, I see 11 oz rayon/lycra in lots of colors and 14 oz rayon/lycra in a few colors.  I don't actually see rayon-poly-lycra, or RPL.  Is this what you mean?

I just made a drapey pencil skirt that I need to make again and I think this would be a good fabric, if I can find the right one.

Shams, the RPL that Janis linked us to is a stretch woven gabardine rayon/poly/lycra.  

The best RPL knit I've found yet is the Sophia knit, which is a really wonderful rayon/poly/lycra medium weight doubleknit . Here and here are links to sites that sell the fabric.

I think EOS has carried RPL doubleknits in the past, but I didn't notice any on her site today. I saw some RPNL knits there (the N is nylon), but no RPL knits.  Admittedly, I didn't scour the site for them, so there may be some there.

The PRLs I was referring to are NOT knits. I prefer wovens for pants, they don't bag out at knees and tush. Woven PRL is drapey, but stays presentable even after a whole days wearing.

Knit PRL is great for dresses and skirts, though.

I just received my brown rpl and it is very nice.  It's very drapey, with a nice amount of stretch.  I'm looking forward to working with it.
