Grown Up Toys

This is the kind of sewing I do most of....toys for grownups! The dragons have a leather like body, filled with poly beads, so they drape on shoulder or shelf. The claws and wings are flexible, and best of all, the eyes glow in the dark.

They really are fun to make, and cool to look at, especially after the lights go off.

Lynerwi - that is a beautiful toy.  But I'd call it a work of art.

fiberart7, that's nice of you to say. Dollmaking is one of things I would LOVE to learn...just not sure where to begin without a class or two.

More than two years to take from concept to completion...who knew a denim dragon would be such a challenge. Hope this is what Mom had in mind :-)

your works always shock us . i love both of them. My friends send me a doll made from the leftover clothes , do you think it is pretty?
