The garment/fabric district is a total hoot! There's A LOT of absolute junk but, there's some treasures to be found as well. I like shopping in the "district" because there is SO much to select from. I take my largest cloth bags with me and fill them up as I walk from shop to shop. My husband likes to go with me because its so exciting, and he helps me carry all the treasures.
I recommend that you print off the report, take it with you, and also, make a list of what you want in the way of buttons, zippers, thread, etc. I always get so distracted by all the fabric, I forget that I also need the buttons, zippers, trims, and what not to go with it and, there are
lots and
lots of separate shops that sell those things too. I
have to take a list with me.
Shopping the "district" is akin to the kind of fun kids have at Disneyland and, its just as crowded. I LOVE IT!
