Not sewn during May but now back in the sewing room.
I still have both the machines threaded in ivory.
I have made one print knit top (no photos yet). And have another one in progress.
These two are both swap extension.
After that I'm probably going to do yet more tops which use ivory thread but don't go too well with swap but do go with other things in my wardrobe.
Then I'm thinking of a segue into charcoal with teal, so that would use the teal and ivory items from swap but not the brown.

On thankyou KayoticSewing. I was so pleased some of my tips have been useful to others. I know my way of sewing does not suit everyone but it works well for me and my wardrobe.

This top didn't make it into the SWAP, but I sewed it up recently.

Ivory, teal, grey and brown animal print. This is a slightly more subtle animal print than some, and I like the fact that grey and brown are included as it gives more options. My brown hair has quite a few streaks of grey and my eyes are teal blue so hopefully this will reflect elements of my personal colouring.
I bought the fabric last April from the Monday Market Man.

I've not sewn up the other fabric yet which I bought at the same time, but they could work in well with future plans.
The tee is made from the same pattern I've used many times before which I created by tracing from a favourite RTW sweater.

I'm a UK RTW size 18 at the moment, but trying to lose some weight, so I've now slightly changed my construction order on this top and coverhem all the hems before sewing together. I then thread the serger stitching back into the seams for neatness. If I want to make the top smaller in future it should be easy to take in at the side seam (and sleeve if needed), and the dropped shoulder will just become slightly more dropped.

Ruthie, just wanted to say how much I like your colour combination (the teal and chocolate), and that taking your pics with your headless companion was inspired!

A lovely collection.

Ruthie, I really love that deal and brown on the light ground. I suppose the Monday Market Man has sold out on this piece a long time ago. It is hard to find prints with those colors on a lighter ground. I'd actually be very bold and ask you to buy me a piece if it hadn't been so long ago. I am in Phoenix, AZ, a fabric desert as well as a climatic desert!

I do love your brown/teal collection so much.

keeping the teal, but going off in a different direction, here's charcoal grey with teal stripes, very work suitable.
